The story behind the creation

Hand-dyeing and mending as a daily fifteen minutes — the smallest goal on her compass, and the one she never missed.

An easy goal, set to create momentum: fifteen minutes of stitching a day, at the same table, at the same hour.

She dyed the cloth herself in the second week. By day thirty the piece had become a record of the month — each session a visible row.

It is the only goal of her ten completed on all thirty days.
